Turquet dead end street
That street is often neglected and people walking down the "montée du Gourgillon" rarely visit it, but surprisingly it contains one of the oldest house of Lyon. This medieval house build in the XIVth century is well-known for its wooden balconies. Turquet was an Italian coming from the Piedmont country, who got the right (granted by François 1st) to bring Genoese weavers in Lyon.
